Migration Policy Group
Our Migration Policy Group is a forum for senior HR, public policy and recruitment professionals interested in influencing or understanding the immigration landscape impacting the technology industry.
Through the group, we work to attain the tech sector’s desired outcomes from both the current and future immigration system. Given frequent changes in government immigration policy, we provide a platform for collaboration and insight to help ensure the tech sector’s needs are addressed in current and future immigration systems.
We also engage with government and key stakeholders on behalf of our members. Through the group, we have provided immigration briefings to Members of Parliament and key stakeholders and hosted speakers from the Home Office, Department for Business and Trade and Migration Advisory Committee.
Our focus:
- Influencing immigration policy: We work to help secure the tech sector’s desired outcomes from current and future immigration systems.
- Understanding the immigration landscape: We help members understand changes in immigration policy and what they mean for the technology industry.
- Collaboration and insight: We bring together HR, public policy and recruitment professionals to share expertise and insight.
- Government engagement: We engage with government and key stakeholders to help ensure the needs of the tech sector are represented.
