About this event

Over the last year, an increasing number of AI governance frameworks and standards have emerged, aiming to help organisations develop governance practices that support the development and deployment of responsible and trustworthy AI. However, many organisations, particularly SMEs and startups, have difficulty navigating this landscape.

To address these challenges, DSIT’s Responsible Technology Adoption Unit (RTA) is seeking to develop an “AI Management Essentials" scheme. The tool will provide an open access, simplified baseline of requirements for responsible and trustworthy AI development and deployment.  In this this half-day workshop, the RTA will present and discuss their research into developing the tool itself, followed by an interactive session where participants will engage with, and provide feedback on the tool, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that it is fit for purpose and meet the needs of startups and SMEs.
