About this event
As legal technology continues to reshape how law firms operate, questions of procurement, adoption, and integration have never been more pressing. techUK, in partnership with the Law Society, is bringing together senior voices from the tech industry and the legal sector to explore the evolving landscape of legal technology and what it means in practice for both sides.
Session overview
The session will offer an overview of the lawtech sector, examining the opportunities and challenges law firms face when adopting new technologies, and how those experiences differ across firms of varying sizes.
A central focus of the webinar will be procurement: what it means for tech companies seeking to break into the law tech market, and what law firms should consider when evaluating and purchasing technology solutions. Drawing on lessons from other sectors that have navigated similar journeys, speakers will share practical insights on buying technology, managing training, working within budget constraints, and operating in a highly regulated and sensitive environment.
The session will feature speakers from both the legal, lawtech and broader tech sectors, with time reserved for Q&A at the close.
