Session 1: 10:00 - 12:30
Session 2: 14:00 - 16:30
Overview
The GPA is inviting industry partners to a pre-procurement market engagement on the GovPass solution. As a foundational pillar of the 'One Estate' strategy to modernise the government office estate, this procurement will deliver a modern, secure, cloud-hosted system and service for cross-government physical access control and credential management. Spanning seven core capability modules from AWS cloud infrastructure support and application integration to card personalisation, technical site delivery, and vendor compliance, the solution enables flexible Civil Service mobility across the government office estate. As part of this overall market engagement, suppliers will gain insight into GovPass and have the opportunity to help shape the technical requirements, architecture, commercial framework, and delivery model.
Key takeaways
Gain insight into the GovPass solution supporting the 'One Estate' strategy and the government office estate modernisation
Understand emerging technical requirements across UK-hosted cloud infrastructure, credential management, and ACS integrations
Contribute to shaping a post-quantum secure, crypto-agile, and vendor-compliant access architecture
Engage with the GPA on future GovPass service desk operations, site delivery, and physical access priorities across government estates
As a critical pillar of the 'One Estate' strategy, this procurement will provide the secure access control backbone for a modern Civil Service.
The session and the subsequent engagement provides an opportunity for industry to share market insight and help inform the development of technical requirements and the commercial framework, supporting the delivery of a high-performance, vendor-integrated solution that enables interoperability across the government office estate and delivers value for taxpayers.
