GPA GovPass Service procurement market engagement event

About this event

On Monday 14 September from 10:00 – 11:00, we are delighted to be hosting the Government Property Agency (GPA) for an online market engagement event.

Overview

The GPA is inviting industry partners to a pre-procurement market engagement on the GovPass solution. This is the first in a series of events as part of the GovPass market engagement, with the second event on Tuesday 22 September in London (details to follow).

GovPass is a foundational pillar of the 'One Estate' strategy to modernise the government office estate. This procurement will deliver a modern, secure, cloud-hosted system and service for cross-government physical access control and credential management. Spanning seven core capability modules from AWS cloud infrastructure support and application integration to card personalisation, technical site delivery, and vendor compliance, the solution enables flexible Civil Service mobility across government offices. As part of the wider market engagement, attendees will gain insight into GovPass and have the opportunity to help shape the technical requirements, architecture, commercial framework, and delivery model.

Key takeaways

  • Gain insight into the GovPass solution supporting the 'One Estate' strategy and government office estate modernisation

  • Understanding of the GovPass market engagement timeline

  • Outline of the forthcoming GovPass market engagement events

  • High level overview of the GovPass requirements and strategic aims

  • How suppliers can contribute to shaping the procurement

As a critical pillar of the 'One Estate' strategy, this procurement will provide the secure access control backbone for a modern Civil Service.

The session provides an overview for suppliers and details future events to share market insight and help inform the development of technical requirements and the commercial framework, supporting the delivery of a high-performance, vendor-integrated solution that enables interoperability across the government office estate and delivers value for taxpayers.
