Cross domain: responding to the threat and widening opportunity

On Thursday 1 October, 14:00 – 15:30, join the NCSC and fellow techUK members for a discussion on the NCSC’s evolving approach to Cross Domain. We will explore how techniques traditionally associated with defence and intelligence can be applied more widely across industry, including critical national infrastructure and other high value or high risk environments.

Cross domain: responding to the threat and widening opportunity

About this event

As organisations become more interconnected, they increasingly need to exchange data between systems with different levels of trust, without introducing unacceptable cyber risk. Cross Domain provides an architectural approach for enabling these data flows securely and reliably.

Session overview

Join the NCSC and fellow techUK members for a discussion on the NCSC's evolving approach to Cross Domain. We will explore how techniques traditionally associated with defence and intelligence can be applied more widely across industry, including critical national infrastructure and other high value or high risk environments.

The session will introduce the key concepts, consider practical use cases and challenges, and invite members to share their experience and help shape the next stages of the work.

This wider session may also inform a smaller, more focused technical discussion to examine implementation considerations in greater depth.

Who should attend

We are particularly keen to hear from organisations that design, build, integrate, assure or operate systems across different trust environments.
