Feryal Clark was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology on Wednesday 9 July 2024 holding the responsibility for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Government. She was elected Labour MP for Enfield North in July 2024. She studied Bioinformatics at the University of Exeter.
She was first elected to Parliament in the 2019 General Election, having previously been a councillor in the London Borough of Hackney and the Deputy Mayor of Hackney. She has previously held roles as Shadow Minister for Primary Care and Patient Safety, Shadow Minister for Health and Shadow Minister for Crime Reduction.
