Join us on Friday 30 October for a member-only webinar analysing the Budget and what it means for our members, the tech sector, and beyond.

Date: Friday 30 October 2026

Time: 11:00-12:00

Format: Online webinar, sign up here

This will be the first Budget delivered by Chancellor John Healey, and the first under the new Government led by Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The Chancellor has said it will be built on fiscal discipline and will give businesses the stability they need to plan for the future. As the new Government's first major fiscal event, it will give the clearest signal yet of its economic priorities, and it is likely to affect many aspects of doing business in the UK.

Alongside expert speakers, techUK will help members understand:

  • What the Budget means for their business
  • What the choices in the Budget say about the Government and its priorities
  • How the wider policy landscape is likely to change after this fiscal statement

There will also be an opportunity for members to put their questions to the panel.

techUK has set out the sector's priorities in our Budget submission to HM Treasury, and we will publish our analysis of the announcements on Budget day.
