Local Public Services Committee

Elected

techUK's Local Public Services Committee (LPSC) is the elected group of industry leaders that sets the strategic direction of techUK's Local Public Services programme. It represents the tech sector to local government at a senior level. It helps plan the programme's work and makes sure that work reflects the priorities of both techUK members and councils. The committee brings together a mix of large companies and SMEs, with seats set aside for smaller businesses so that suppliers of all sizes are heard. It elects its own Chair and Vice-Chairs, and it meets regularly through the year, in person and online, including regional sessions around the country.

Members stand for election because the committee gives them a real say in how the tech industry and local government work together. As a committee member you help shape techUK's activity in local public services and put your expertise to work on the challenges councils face. You'll also build strong relationships with peers and public sector leaders. It's a chance to raise your organisation's profile in the local government tech community and to show leadership in a sector that affects people's everyday lives. Any techUK member can put themselves forward when nominations open, and members serve a fixed term, usually two years.
