Scalable Approach to Vulnerability via Interoperability (SAVVI) Tech Working Group
The SAVVI Supplier Working Group gives techUK members a direct say in how vulnerable people and households are identified and supported across local public services. Councils have to bring together data from many local and national organisations so they can lead a coordinated response with partner agencies and the community. That work is often held back because the datasets are hard to find, the semantics and quality are inconsistent, identifiers vary, and there are no shared biographic standards. SAVVI is building data standards to fix this, working towards a secure, standards-based ecosystem rather than relying on one shared product. When you join the group, you help make sure those standards reflect how technology is actually built, bought and deployed.
The group runs on active two-way participation. The aim is to let innovation flourish while making sure the needs of vulnerable people are met. As a member, you'd be a critical friend to the SAVVI project on anything tech-related. You'd help explore how SAVVI standards work alongside other standards, share how you plan to use them, and pass on best practice for supporting vulnerable people. Members hear directly from the SAVVI team, give feedback on how the standards fit the market and help shape the group's direction.
