Tech Nature and Biodiversity Group
The Tech Nature and Biodiversity Group explores strategies for incorporating biodiversity and nature risks into corporate practices, as well as looks at how technology can be used to prevent and measure biodiversity loss. Members receive regular updates on related policy and regulations.
We aim to assist members with incorporating biodiversity considerations into corporate practices, learning more about related policy and regulation, and exploring how technology can be harnessed to prevent and measure biodiversity loss.
The Group serves as a collaborative hub for all techUK members that champion or are passionate about nature and biodiversity, particularly sustainability professionals responsible for related strategies at their organisations.
Group members can anticipate regular email updates on relevant policies and regulations, ensuring they stay abreast of the latest developments. We also host educational sessions covering crucial topics such as what biodiversity entails and how companies can effectively prepare nature-related reports.
Working group sessions occur regularly (at least three times a year), providing a forum for meaningful dialogue and collaboration within the tech community committed to environmental stewardship.
