Sustainability
We bring members, government and regulators together to accelerate sustainable growth, support the UK's net zero transition and help the technology sector reduce its environmental footprint. Our focus:
- Building sustainability partnerships
- Shaping sustainability policy
- Supporting the sector's own net zero transition

Helping organisations turn sustainability ambition into action.
We bring members, government and regulators together to help the technology sector reduce its environmental impact while enabling decarbonisation across the wider economy.
Our members engage on the issues shaping the future of sustainable technology, from net zero and the circular economy to responsible business conduct, biodiversity and supply chain transparency. Through dedicated working groups, events and policy engagement, we help organisations navigate regulation, share best practice and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
We're committed to helping our members, our sector and all other industries reach net zero. As a signatory of the Race to Zero campaign, we have pledged to halve emissions by 2030 and reach net zero before 2050. Our work is informed by research including Digital Sustainability 2035 and Tech Towards Net Zero, helping demonstrate the role technology can play in achieving climate goals.
This programme sits within our wider work on Climate and Sustainability, bringing together policy, evidence and industry expertise to help shape what comes next.
Influence sustainability policy
We work with government and stakeholders to shape policy and regulation that reduce risk and cost across the tech sector, covering ESG disclosures, supply chain due diligence, human rights, nature and biodiversity. We help the sector engage constructively with regulation while supporting practical, lower-cost pathways to decarbonisation and sustainability.
Access sector insight
We help organisations stay ahead of emerging regulation, policy developments and sustainability trends. Through reports, briefings, events and expert insight, members gain practical guidance to help them adapt, comply and grow.
Build strategic partnerships
We've built a diverse community to help organisations across the sector with their net zero transition, from measurement and reporting to implementation. We create opportunities to showcase technology that supports carbon reduction, circularity and human rights goals.
Join the programme
Join our community helping accelerate the UK's net zero transition through technology. You'll influence policy, access sector insight, build valuable partnerships and contribute solutions that support decarbonisation, resilience and sustainable growth.
