Navigating the new NHS England SME Playbook: techUK lunch and learn
This Lunch and Learn session will introduce the new NHS England SME Playbook, designed to help small and medium-sized innovators navigate procurement and engagement across the health system. The discussion will explore practical guidance on routes to market, compliance expectations and evidence strategies, with insight from SME contributors and NHS leaders involved in developing the Playbook.

About this event
techUK is pleased to host a Lunch and Learn session on the newly published NHS England SME Playbook, designed to help small and medium-sized innovators understand how to work more effectively with the NHS.
This will be an informal session, so please do bring your lunch or a cup of tea whilst you listen!
Developed by the NHS England SME Advisory Group, the Playbook provides practical guidance on procurement routes, compliance expectations, real-world evidence, segmentation, and how to engage the right decision-makers across the system.
SMEs play a crucial role in delivering innovation to health and care, and this session will offer insight from two SME leaders who helped shape the Playbook: Sally Rennison and Will Goddard. We also hope to be joined by Helen Fisher & Paul Richards from NHS England, to outline the strategic intent behind the Playbook and its alignment with wider procurement reforms/how the Playbook will support SMEs across the health and care sector.
Why attend?
