Following our recent workshop on Infrastructure Build and Street Furniture, techUK is convening a focused, invite-only roundtable to explore practical solutions for accelerating street furniture deployment for digital infrastructure. 

This follow-up session will bring together local authority representatives, industry leaders, and policy stakeholders to build on the key findings from our initial discussions, share perspectives from both public and private sectors, and identify actionable next steps. 

The agenda will focus on four core themes: 

1. Local authority capacity and coordination – how to support councils to deploy infrastructure more confidently and consistently. 

1. Commercial viability and risk distribution – aligning incentives and de-risking early-stage deployments. 

1. Process streamlining and coordination – reducing friction through regulatory and operational improvements. 

1. Strategic vision and public value – positioning digital infrastructure as an essential civic asset.
