What is the Robotics Working Group?

The Working Group offers techUK member companies a unique opportunity to directly influence techUK’s robotics agenda while building connections across the UK robotics ecosystem.

It will bring together organisations with an interest in robotics across a wide range of sectors to:

  • Inform techUK’s robotics strategy, priorities, activities, policy asks, and thought leadership as we look to ensure the UK leads on developing and deploying robotics responsibly and at scale
  • Surface specific challenges or opportunities around everything from access to talent to robotics regulation that techUK should look to address on behalf of our membership
  • Facilitate dialogue and drive collaboration across key organisations, sectors and industries through the sharing of insights or expertise and guest appearances from leading figures spanning the UK’s robotics ecosystem

Who is it for?

The group is open exclusively to techUK member organisations involved in robotics, automation and related technologies across industry, research and professional services. This includes technology companies, investors, consultancies, law firms, universities, and more.

Join the inaugural meeting

techUK's Robotics Working Group will meet for the first time on 1 April 2026. The meeting will take place at the techUK offices in London (EC4A 4AD) from 10:00-10:45am. Participants will learn about techUK's Robotics programme and the new Working Group, hear from a senior external stakeholder, and shape the focus of techUK's upcoming Robotics report. An agenda will then be shared in due course.
