The NHS is backing three big shifts with real budget:

Care is moving into the community: £21.4B spent across 987 projects. Think virtual wards, home diagnostics, and place-based delivery.
Prevention is finally being prioritised: £2.97B in contracts focused on early intervention, genome screening, and behavioural health.
The analogue days are over: £2.23B awarded to digital-first solutions like EHR integration, NHS App modules, automation tools.
