Participate in techUK's upcoming Robotics & Automation sprint campaign

In February 2025, techUK will launch a 6-month 'sprint campaign' around the future of Robotics & Automation technologies.
This will identify the key Robotics & Automation technologies of the future, explore how they'll be developed, applied and commercialised, and make recommendations regarding how the UK can lead on them moving forward.
This sprint campaign kicked off on 25 February. View all activity to date and find out how to get involved by clicking here.
📋 Format
The campaign will comprise panel discussions, workshops, roundtables, networking sessions, blogs/vlogs, and tech demos.
It will culminate in a report (much like techUK's recent Gaming & Esports report), to be launched in Q4 2025, setting out the themes explored during the campaign and featuring member / stakeholder case studies and practical recommendations for industry / Government. This report will aim to advance the sector and begin to address the main challenges and opportunities that have emerged during the campaign.
🎯 Objectives
The sprint campaign will have the following objectives:
To convene the UK's robotics & automation sector to increase awareness of stakeholders, drive collaboration, and create opportunities for partnerships (format: sector meet-up event, 25 Feb, techUK offices)
To identify the main robotics & automation technologies set to drive UK economic growth and productivity, including AI, sensors, and spatial computing (format: panel discussions +
Productivity & Automation insight series, 14 April submission deadline
)
To determine the key barriers to the development, application, and commercialisation of these technologies in the UK (format: workshops and/or roundtables)
To develop then share a set of recommendations for industry and Government to ensure the UK seizes the opportunities created by initiatives such as the
,
Modern Industrial Strategy (Invest 2035)
