techUK will be hosting a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing, a 50-min film which contextualises scientific content about the climate and nature crisis, followed by a discussion and a networking reception.
We are deliberately opening this event beyond techUK's usual climate and sustainability network, and inviting members to invite colleagues or connections to come and learn about what climate and nature breakdown means for our health, food systems, national security, and economy - and discuss what we can all do about it.
For the post-film discussion, we are delighted to be joined by Donna Okell, Director for Business, National Emergency Briefing (NEB), and techUK Climate Council and Borad member Anthony Levy, Founder, Circularity First.
This will be a chance to ask questions and think through what the film's findings mean in practice for the tech sector.
