Chips Coalition
Our Chips Coalition was formed in June 2023 with the united goal of providing a strong industry voice for a thriving semiconductor industry in the UK. The Coalition is made up of sector advocates and companies, and is led jointly by techUK, TechWorks and Tech London Advocates.
The Coalition is open to everyone, so you don’t need to be a techUK member.

What we do
The Coalition produces recommendations to the UK Government on how to support the UK semiconductor industry, including how the UK connects to global supply chains and develops the skills and infrastructure to compete internationally.
We meet once a quarter, with a regular drumbeat of events and opportunities.

The Coalition is part of our Semiconductors and Emerging Technology programmes. Our Semiconductors programme is the industry voice for UK semiconductors, and our Emerging Technology programme brings together industry, government and researchers to help commercialise innovation and turn technologies into real-world impact.
