Chips Coalition

The Chips coalition (founded originally by techUK, Global Tech Advocates and TechWorks) is an open forum for those interested in the UK semiconductor sector to discuss policy developments, industry updates, share opportunities and shape our joint advocacy.

Semiconductors are the foundation of modern innovation, powering everything from AI  , quantum computing, clean energy, healthcare, defence, and next-generation hardware. As the UK seeks to strengthen its position as a global leader in AI and deep tech, a thriving semiconductor sector will be critical to delivering that ambition.

Why Join?

Founded in 2023, the Chips Coalition brings together more than 200 leaders and experts from across the UK semiconductor ecosystem to ensure the sector speaks with a strong, unified voice.

As semiconductor policy decisions rapidly accelerate, joining the Chips Coalition ensures you stay close to the conversations, connections, and decision-makers driving the sector forward. Previous speakers include the Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, Patrick Vallance,  the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at DSIT, and the Deputy Director of the Semiconductor team at DSIT.

Our next session is July 7th, 11am-12pm, online, If you would like to join please email [email protected] for the details.
