On the 7 July from 9:30 - 11:00 we are delighted to be joined by Dr Jeremy Evas, head of the Welsh Government's Prosiect 2015 for a briefing on the benefits of designing services in different languages.

With over 50% of the world’s population speaking more than one language, many companies are looking to move into multilingual markets. A UK-based bilingual English and Welsh digital service can provide an excellent opportunity for companies to venture into bilingual services. Many public sector organisations in Wales offer their services bilingually, because 20% of the population of Wales speaks Welsh.

This online presentation which will guide you through the process of designing services in other languages, as well as English.

Jeremy will share case studies from Business Wales and from Helo Blod - its fast, friendly and free Welsh translation and advice service – to show how businesses in Wales have discovered that using just a little bit of Cymraeg (Welsh) can make a big difference.

So if you think you might like to expand your company's reach into markets in other languages, or if your organisation’s already developing bilingual software, this will be your perfect guide to helping to make sure your project offers great user experience in English and Welsh.

If you're interested in attending this event, make sure to register your place now!
