On Wednesday 21 September (11.00-13.30)*, techUK will be hosting a Cyber Growth Partnership Skills Working Group meeting to look at ways to address the skills gap and shortage that the cyber workforce is currently facing. The meeting will be hybrid, with the option to attend in person or via Teams.

With 80% of the 2030 UK workforce in the workforce now, short-term intervention is required as we look to overcome these gaps. The purpose of this session is to gather feedback from the group on early-stage, industry-focused government proposals to reduce the cyber skills gap and shortage in the short-term.

Draft agenda:

  • Introductions
  • Summary of the issue government is looking to solve and current activity
  • Discussion of proposals to solve the issue
  • Next steps
  • AOB

Register to attend this meeting now.

Please note: This meeting was orginally scheduled for 12 September but was postponed due to the extremely sad news regarding the passing of Her Majesty the Queen. The new date and time have been set as Wednesday 21 September (11.00-13.30)
