Defence Digital is keen to begin engagement with industry as The Authority starts to prepare to re-tender the run, support and ongoing improvement of its private cloud based, highly secure mission critical ICT system. The system supports Defence business across a global footprint in a variety of environments including fixed and deployed.

The Authority intends for this meeting to be an initial engagement with industry, with participation from:

  • The Authority Delivery Team
  • The Authority Planning Team
  • The Authority Commercial Team

The goal of the event is to ensure that Industry is aware of the Authority’s aspirations in this space, and are best placed to help explore and shape the Authority’s request for Industry support, including how the Authority can gain confidence that SMEs are able to contribute.

The Authority expects the briefing to take approximately 1 hour with the opportunity for networking and discussions afterwards. This initial briefing will be held at OFFICIAL SENSITIVE and will be open to SC cleared personnel only. Subsequent briefings may be held at higher classifications.

Defence Research and Technology Forum

The Defence Research & Technology Forum (DRTF) represents the interests of techUK members to Defence stakeholders involved in the funding, and conduct of Research & Technology within the UK Defence markets. The DRTF assists the MOD in the formulation of effective R&T policy and brings greater Government awareness to the capabilities that exist within the UK technology industry.

Information Superiority Forum

The Information Superiority Forum (ISF) looks at information superiority (IS) across the Ministry of Defence (MOD). The ISF leads on engagement with the MOD's FLCs and across the department's Defence Digital organisation. The Forum gives techUK members insight into the future strategies of key stakeholders in the MOD's the information community.
