This is an opportunity to engage with the NCA in respect of a potential forthcoming procurement for our National Data Exploitation Centre and associated requirements, and is open to both techUK members and non-members. This procurement would focus on the provision of specialist digital capabilities, from Security Clearance Enhanced, or Developed Vetting, Supplier specialists, and is valued at £11m per annum, to a maximum of four years. Potential Suppliers are invited to this early market engagement to hear more of the requirement, to offer their thoughts and engage in a Q&A session. The NCA approaches engagement with an open mind and would welcome any and all input. In person attendance is preferred, on a first come, first serve, basis, however a virtual option will also be available.
For the avoidance of doubt, the NCA has also already conducted market engagement under CCS’ Technology Services 3, lot 3d; this engagement will be similar across both events and potential Suppliers may attend either, both, or neither event, at their discretion, where potential Suppliers are Suppliers to that Framework, however the NCA will account for the first event’s feedback (the CCS engagement) in this engagement session. A link to our Preliminary Market Engagement Notice can be found here. The NCA is unable to reimburse any cost of attendance, virtually, or face to face;
Please see attached Request For Information (RFI) for further context, alongside associated questions from the NCA
Please note, the market engagement session will consist of a) a presentation and context setting by the NCA, with an open Q&A session available to face to face and virtual attendees, and, b) the opportunity for a more direct Q&A opportunity, with approx. 9 potential Suppliers to 1 NCA staff member in a ‘small roundtable’ for face to face attendees only;
The NCA invites potential Suppliers who attend face to face to a roundtable in the second half of the session, on any one of the six questions contained within the attached RFI. This is an opportunity for potential Suppliers to engage on that particular question with the NCA in a more direct environment. When registering for the market engagement event, if you wish to attend face to face and participate in a roundtable (max 1 attendee per roundtable) please indicate which roundtable you would like to attend in your in-person ticket. Please note that techUK will not be operating a waiting list and once the slots for each roundtable are full, we cannot make any changes.
Potential Suppliers are welcome to ask any questions in advance. For any questions relating to practicalities of face to face attendance, or virtual attendance, please contact [email protected] at techUK. For any questions relating to the potential procurement itself, please email [email protected] – please note, a maximum of two attendees per potential Supplier may attend face to face (and one attendee per organisation per roundtable). Registration closes on July 02 at 12:00 for both face to face, and virtual, attendance, and any late registrations cannot be accepted. Owing to the NCA’s transparency obligations, any questions relating to the potential procurement itself that are asked in advance will be answered by the NCA during the market engagement event and no direct reply can be provided in advance – questions in advance are gratefully received;
The NCA and techUK look forward to welcoming you to this early market engagement, to be held on July 3rd between 1 and 3pm, and techUK’s headquarters of 10 St Bride Street, London, EC4A 4AD.
For in person tickets, please indicate which table you would like to join by signing up for that ticket. Details on ticket choices can be found in the RFI. Once booked, tickets choices cannot be changed.
