On 7 July from 15:00 – 16:00, we are pleased to be hosting the Government Commercial Agency for an online Network Services 4 market engagement event.

Session overview

This session will provide an overview of key facts for Network Services 4, inform the market of Government Commercial Agency (GCA) aims, and help potential bidders prepare for this opportunity.

Network Services 4 (RM6377) will replace Network Services 3 (RM6116). Network Services 4 will provide a route to market for the following:

  • Internet connectivity services (WAN)
  • Local connectivity services (LAN)
  • Voice and unified communications
  • Contact centre services
  • IoT and connected places (incl. Security and CCTV)
  • Critical domain services
  • Paging and alerting services
  • Audio visual services
  • Critical communications: devices, services, and software

One major change from Network Services 3 is the introduction of 3 new lots focused on critical communications. These were added after discussions with the Home Office Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP). The goal is to support the anticipated transition and introduction of the Emergency Services Network.
