Why should you choose this course?
Data is the gold rush for the 21st Century. Smart phones, social media, the Internet, apps, devices, sensors, smart cards, telematics and GPS are changing how we interact with the world around us and each other. Some predictions put the rate of growth of data between 2013 to 2020 at over 200% a year with an estimate that by 2020 there will be more than 16 zettabytes of useful data (16 trillion GB). The Big Data and Analytics market is growing six times faster than the ICT market, according to IDC.
As companies gather more and more information about their customers, operations, and the performance of their products, Big Data is becoming a valuable source of competitive advantage.
