Some of James’ notable achievements in tech include inventing the world’s first iPhone-to-DSLR camera appcessory that was sold in Apple stores in the US and EU; building an omnichannel, global photography accessory brand from scratch, and strategic operations, sales and marketing consulting to companies in various industries . In an earlier life, James worked as a professional photographer and in fixed income (bond) Sales in the City of London.
He has negotiated many millions of pounds of tech product sales, manufacturing agreements in China, distribution agreements in Japan, USA and the EU, SaaS software contracts in the UK, employment contracts and complex 'device time' agreements with his daughters.
An exponent of continuous learning from first-hand teachers and mentors himself, James has lectured to Auckland University MBA students, presented at tech conferences, been featured on national TV and in WIRED magazine.
He lives just outside Geneva. He holds a Joint BA(Hons) in Business and Spanish from Sheffield University.
