Supercharging adoption of digital technology

**This event is now fully booked, please email events@techuk.org to join the event waitlist**

Supercharging the Digital Economy 2019 will champion the transformative, cutting edge and emerging digital technologies that are key to accelerating the digital transformation of key sectors and industries in the North. It will examine how the adoption of advanced digital technologies and services are driving economic growth, productivity and job creation, with a particular focus on their impact on transport/logistics and manufacturing. The key focus will be on identifying the policy levers that can be used to supercharge the growth of the digital economy and society across the North.

At Supercharging 2019 sessions will showcase how the UK’s position as a tech leader can support and strengthen the digital transformation of key UK sectors, and how government and industry can work together to overcome common challenges that may be preventing digitisation. Leading speakers from industry, government and the technology sector will discuss how to create the right environment that empowers businesses to adopt and use the technologies that will supercharge the UK’s digital economy.
