Nominations are now open for techUK's Digital Twins Steering Board

techUK is excited to announce that members can now nominate themselves for our Digital Twins Steering Board.

The Digital Twins Steering Board provides strategic direction for the Digital Twins Programme and ensures that our work accurately represents members’ priorities.

This board was first formed in Q1 2023, with the main output being the Digital Twins Green Paper, Digital Twinning of Everything and Everyone, published in June 2025. Building on from this work, the newly elected board will work with techUK to translate the green paper’s findings into actionable outcomes through consultations and stakeholder engagement.

The Steering Board sits for a term of two years and will help set priorities for relevant working groups, outline key outputs for the programme, opportunities for cross-sector collaborations, and how digital twins might interact with emerging technologies like robotics and agentic AI.

Please note:

  • Only one representative per techUK member company can sit on the Steering Board
  • Members of the Steering Board must be able to attend and actively participate in activities, as set out in the Terms of Reference
  • Members of the Steering Board will elect a Chair and Vice-Chair once members have been elected
  • Members interested in being considered as Chair or Vice-Chair of the Steering Board should indicate this on their nomination form

To nominate yourself or a colleague, simply read through the draft Terms of Reference and complete the nomination form  no later than Monday 12 January 2026 at 17:00.

techUK is committed to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion across our leadership bodies, and encourage members to put forward diverse representatives that will bring a range of views and experiences to the Steering Board.
