Innovators with digital solutions that can support the health service during the COVID-19 pandemic can now submit their applications for a new £150,000 funding competition from the Welsh Government.
According to the Digital Health Ecosystem Wales (DHEW), which is supporting the competition, the technologies must tackle one of the following areas:
- Remote diagnosis and patient triage
- Data collection and analysis optimisation
- Hospital PPE inventory tracking, managing and reporting
- Remote citizen support and treatment.
Applications close at 9am on Monday 8 June. The companies selected will receive up to £30,000 to test their solution during a 6-8-week period within NHS environments, and an evaluation looking at the scalability of their technologies across Wales will be carried out in September.
