Update on DEFNET External Access project

The DEFNET External access project which is providing access to DEFNET for Industry Partners and MoD Disadvantaged Users will be commencing the beta trial shortly following approval to proceed to test.

The Beta phase is scheduled to commence from the 17th February to the 26th February 2020. To recap on previous communications, the Beta phase consists of a closed working group of approximately 70 users who will test, alongside the project team, the solution in the live environment. Post completion of a successful Beta trial in February 2020, the project will seek approval to proceed with the roll-out. This is currently planned to commence from the middle of March 2020.

Please note that Industry Partners will be unable to connect over the Boundary Protection Service (BPS) until re-baselined dates have been provided. The project team will provide more information regarding the roll-out plan following completion of the beta trial.
