#HealthtechUK update | Contribute to our July campaign

This July, the techUK Health and Social Care team will be holding a campaign week focussing on the emerging topics that some of you have asked us to look at over the coming months. Running from 6 – 10 July, the campaign will put the spotlight on diversity and inclusion in healthtech, digital mental health and preparing for future public health crises.

We would like to invite members to contribute by submitting any material you may have surrounding each of these themes, which we will then share on our website throughout the campaign week. This could be a thought leadership blog post, a case study or even a video that demonstrates your views or showcases your work on the themes mentioned.

The campaign will be supported by a series of events that we will be running that week:

• Ethnic diversity in healthtech: Actions to do more – 6 July 14:00–15:00

Digital mental health: The investor’s view – 7 July 12:15–13:00

Preparing for future public health crises – 9 July 12:30–13:30

We hope you will be able to join us. In the meantime, please find below a list of updates and engagement opportunities from our friends and stakeholders.

Our partners at NHS Digital would also like to gain a better understanding of the collaboration tools you have been using during the coronavirus pandemic to support your employees and teams to work effectively across multiple locations. They are particularly interested in innovative products that are disrupting the collaboration marketplace. If you have any ideas or recommendations, please email NHS Digital.

Until next time,
Leontina Postelnicu
