UK alert level moves to Level 3
The Joint Biosecurity Centre last week recommended that the COVID-19 alert level should move from Level 4 (A COVID-19 epidemic is in general circulation; transmission is high or rising exponentially) to Level 3 (A COVID-19 epidemic is in general circulation).
The Chief Medical Officers for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have reviewed the evidence and agree with this recommendation to move to Level 3 across the UK.
Working safely tool
Government has launched a new tool to help businesses reopen safely. The guidance highlighted will help you carry out a risk assessment and make sensible adjustments to the site and workforce. Please note this tool applies to businesses in England only.
The GREAT Britain Campaign, the UK Government’s global promotion campaign, is launching a new campaign called GREAT Inspirations, to shine a light on businesses and their employees across the country who have responded to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in remarkable ways and celebrate them going back to business.
