Change to techUK daily COVID bulletins

We hope that you have found techUK’s daily bulletins useful in navigating the latest Government guidance and planning your organisations response to the COVID-19 challenge. 

From next week the bulletin will be landing in your inbox three days a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ensuring that any new information received by the Government is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

EHRC interim report on digital justice 

The Equality and Human Right’s Commission (EMRC) published an interim report on the use of video and audio hearings in the criminal justice system.

The report includes a number of recommendations for how the Ministry of Justice should proceed with digital hearings to ensure access to justice for all.


New guidance for staying safe online  

Today, the Minister for Digital has published new guidance to help children stay safe online.

The guidance sets out a four-point plan and recommends reviewing security and safety settings, checking facts and guarding against disinformation, being vigilant against fraud and scams, and managing the amount of time spent online. Read more here.
