techUK Cloud, Data, Analytics and AI Newsletter | CDEI Work Programme

I hope you find this month's update a helpful overview of the most recent news and upcoming opportunities from our programme.

Last month the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation published its 19/20 Work Programme and 2-year Strategy, setting out the Centre’s priorities and ways of working for its first year. To support this work programme, on Friday 26 April, we’re partnering with the Centre to conduct an exploratory workshop on online targeting and personalisation. This workshop will be a key opportunity for techUK members to engage with the Centre and inform the recommendations they put forward to government later this year. If you’d like to attend the workshop, please register through the portal here or RSVP to jake.wall@techuk.org.

Next week we’re going to be hosting techUK’s AI campaign week! During this week we will be discussing how AI is impacting four key sectors: healthcare, infrastructure, policing and cybersecurity and the necessary next steps to ensure AI remains a competitive advantage for the UK. If you’d like to join the conversation on Twitter, please feel free to use the #AIWeek.

If you have any further questions about any aspect of our programme, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

All the best,

Katherine
