London CDO Theo Blackwell wants to hear from you!

He is asking what steps can we take to shape delivery so London can become be the global home to data innovation and artificial intelligence to boost growth and help make London a better place to live, work and visit. To make London more open to solutions procured or developed in partnership with the tech community, they're conducting a short survey  - it should take less than 5 minutes to complete

The largest and longest running unconference for UK local government LocalGovCamp is back this September and in Birmingham, you can register here. techUK's Head of Public Sector, Rob Driver, welcomes the Government's competiton and states "the UK has a phenomenal opportunity to lead the world in the next wave of digital government transformation and it is encouraging to see that the Government is willing to experiment with new transformational approaches to harness the established and diverse supplier base in the UK."

GDS takes steps to support move away from PSN (UKAuthority)

The Government Digital Service (GDS) is beginning to look at ways to support public sector organisations in moving away from use of the Public Services Network (PSN) while maintaining the appropriate technical controls.

GDS looks to private sector to boost Verify take-up (UKAuthority)

GDS is looking towards the private sector to help drive take-up of the GOV.UK Verify digital identity service and achieve the aim of enrolling 25 million users by 2020.

Lincolnshire to create online directory of care services (PublicTechnology.net)

The authority has published a contract notice seeking suppliers across two lots. The first of these includes the creation and maintenance of the digital resource, while the second covers the provision of email, web chat, and telephone support to citizens.
