The campaign will highlight best practice by leaders that are creating cloud enabled organisations, across all sectors, and a cloud driven workforce that will be vital for the UK’s digital future.

This campaign follows the launch of techUK's Cloud 2020 Vision for keeping the UK at the forefront of Cloud adoption which highlighted the importance of supporting organisations given the cultural shift required to optimise the use of cloud.

A new techUK 'Cloud Champion’ will be chosen every month, so if you would like to nominate a friend or colleague to be the next 'Cloud Champion' please drop Sue Daley a line with a bit of information about them!

What is your current role and responsibilities?

I am CEO & Founder of Cloudsoft.

What does a typical day involve?

At the moment the only constant is that I am travelling more or less constantly!.

What do you most enjoy about your work?

What makes it really worthwhile is connecting with people the world over all of whom are working towards the same goal – to ensure that cloud is open – built on open standards and open source foundations. “Open by design” is often used as shorthand for this!

How have you supported the organisations adoption and implementation of cloud?

We do this through our partnerships with companies like Atos, Dell EMC and IBM who have OEMed our technology. We enable organisations to take full advantage of cloud in whatever shape or form (private, public or hybrid) that suits their business needs.

Duncan gave more detailed answers to these and other questions which you can read by clicking below.
