Finalists for Pitching-Fest at Scale-up your Start-up

techUK and Triteq are pleased to announce the list of 10 finalists for the 'pitch-fest' competition at the Scale-up your Start-up event at techUk on the 10th November.

Each company will have a maximum of 3 minutes to impress the judges and the audience with their new start-up. Two prizes will be awarded for the best pitches, as judged by the audience using a special App developed by Triteq and by a panel of judges.

  • Start-up membership of techUK for one year

Consultants will be on hand through the morning to advise start-ups on the best way to scale-up their business.

List of finalists

Alborz Bozorgi and Ellenor McIntosh – ACE

Mike Dickison – Coventry University

Mike aims to create an iconic brand based on an affordable lightweight sports car for the track and road-driving enthusiasts. The car will incorporate cutting-edge light weight automotive design and manufacturing principles, advanced aerodynamics and an innovative aluminium and composite chassis that provides a high level of occupant safety

Imtiaz Chowdry – Green Running Ltd.

Paul E Rinne – GripAble

Rahat Iqbal and Tomasz Mani – Interactive Coventry

Interactive Coventry (IC) specialises in cutting edge biologically inspired artificial intelligence algorithms, data mining, information retrieval and human behavior theories to provide our customers with a wide range of customised solutions to empower them with innovative technology and outstanding customer service

Bashir Jaman – Mobitech Communication Limited

Mobitech are working on a disruptive innovative project to connect high street mobile retailers with wholesalers of telecom sector through a cloud based epos.

Nikos Volakis and Julia Arrighi – Synasource

Synasource are a tech start-up specializing in Machine Learning in the sports i-gaming sector. Their goal is to disrupt the sports sponsorship as well as gambling industry with innovative AI skill game. Their algorithms use years of rich players' & teams' data as well as news to measure soft factors such as ‘motivation’.

Pauline Issard – Trackener Ltd.
