Application form: Future Borders Innovation Den

techUK is working with the Government’s Future Borders Programme to deliver a series of Innovation Dens to explore how emerging tech could help to make the UK border one of the smartest in the world.

The Future Borders is a cross-government programme which has been set up in order to transform and modernise the UK border. Its mission is to develop a world class border that enhances the prosperity and security of the UK. The team are interested in exploring how new and emerging tech could be used to develop creative, imaginative and innovative solutions for some of the key challenges that face the UK border.

On the 7 May techUK hosted a webinar with the Future Borders team to provide interested organisations with more information about the programme and tech companies are now invited to express an interest at pitching at one of the Innovation Dens. The team are keen to understand how emerging tech and new ways of working could transform the border.

Successful applicants will get a 25-minute video call with the team, 10 minutes to pitch and 15 minutes for Q&A.

If you’d like to apply for a chance to pitch at one of the Innovation Dens please fill out the attached form and return it to Ellie Huckle, Central Government Programme Manager, techUK (ellie.huckle@techuk.org) by COP on Friday 5 June.
