Is your business ready for a no deal Brexit?

Since the vote to leave the European Union in 2016, techUK has been working to understand the implications of Brexit and to ensure that the sectors concerns are well understood by Government and other stakeholders. techUK has been clear that if the UK is to exit the EU then it should do so in an orderly fashion with a Withdrawal Agreement in place that paves the way for a new relationship to be put in place as soon as possible.

Meanwhile many techUK members have done what they can to prepare for Brexit. With the adage “hope for the best, prepare for the worst” guiding many firms activity. However, a recent survey of techUK members revealed that larger companies are significantly more advanced in the Brexit planning than many small and medium sized companies. With Boris Johnson’s government determined to leave the EU on the 31st October with or without deal many techUK members and other tech companies are now looking for further urgent guidance on how to prepare.

In late September techUK secured a Government grant to help us increase our output on no deal information and reach as large a tech audience as possible.

This has allowed us to schedule ten live webinars over the next few weeks on the five issues our members have told us matter most to their business.

  1. Data Flows
  2. Freedom of Movement and the immigration system post-Brexit
  3. Importing and exporting goods and services
  4. The mobility of workers between the UK and EEA
  5. Regulations

The webinars will consist of an hour-long presentation followed by one hour of Q&A with specialists in these areas.

These webinars are free and open to members and non-members alike.

If you can’t make the session you will be able to re-watch it at your own convenience.

The schedule of the webinars is as below. To register in advance click on the title which will direct you to an external website where the webinar will be hosted.
