'DefNET Issue': MOD statement provides guidance for Industry

MOD ISS Customer Services has issued guidance to Industry that indicates the MOD's plans to keep the Defence Intranet Read/Write in the interim, so that Industry continues to have direct access to data provided by MOD, data that is essential to delivery of contracts.

The guidance indicates that MOD staff will update data on both the Defence Intranet and defnet, the new SharePoint site on MODNET.

This is an interim measure designed to overcome the issues Industry has been highlighting (e.g. via the Industry Customer Engagement Forum) over the migration of data to defnet.

ISS is working to identify a solution that will enable non-MODNET user access to defnet.

techUK will share any further guidance that follows..
