Digital Twin Collaboration Workshop Round-Up

On the 14th March, techUK held a workshop with members interested in collaborating on funding opportunities available around digital twin technologies. This collaboration had been announced at techUK's Brit-Twin: Towards a National Digital Twin at which we announced the workshop which is led by Costain.

The workshop was opened by Kevin Reeves, Group Head of IoT and Data Services at Costain with a presentation on the three challenges that they are working with clients on in the water sector, Highways England and National Grid. Funding either from partners or InnovateUK is available for consortia and solutions who are able to take proposals forward in these areas.

Nearly 20 members engaged in the workshop around the role that they could play in developing solutions in partnership with each other in these areas. They agreed to focus on two areas of water and air quality along the strategic road network.

Please click here to view the slides for the workshop and the next steps will be to host two focused workshops with both Ofwat and Highways England. Please keep an eye out for these - techUK members will still be able to engage in these workshops even if they haven't engaged to date.
