On January 28 techUK hosted the Programme CORTISONE industry day. Please see the below an announcement from Programme CORTISONE:
Suppliers were invited to attend this event that provided an update on the CORTISONE Programme within the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). This Industry Day provided:
• An update on the overall procurement approach;
• More detailed information on the procurement of client-side Design, Develop and Deliver Services;
• Further information on the procurement of an Integration Platform and an Enterprise Master Patient Index; and
• Opportunities for questions and answers and networking.
MOD is looking for a range of companies to engage with the programme, delivering a full suite of healthcare software to meet use-cases and patient-journey-defined functional requirements. With the modular nature of the procurement allowing innovation, all suppliers are encouraged to take a leading role in the delivery of functionality.
The CORTISONE Programme has engaged with suppliers through an Industry Day on 17 May 2018 and through a series of Discovery Days, where it has invited potential suppliers to present information on services and demonstrate products to relevant technical and business staff from the CORTISONE Programme. These Discovery Days have addressed:
• Primary Healthcare
• Dental Healthcare
• Integration Platforms
• Enterprise Master Patient Index
• Document Management
CORTISONE is also looking to the future and will exploit innovation to align with NHS strategy, virtualise healthcare and integrate with services across the healthcare sector. This may include telemedicine, patient record integration with the NHS and other patient databases and patient condition tracking.
