techUK is pleased to announce the return of its annual Cloud and Digital Infrastructure Week, running from 9 to 13 November 2026. The week will bring you the latest insights on how cloud computing is accelerating digital transformation and innovation across our economy and society. This year we’re also looking at the infrastructure underpinning cloud, including data centres, AI compute and the energy that powers them.

Cloud and Digital Infrastructure Week is an opportunity for the techUK community to explore key issues and showcase new ideas and thought leadership from our members.

We’re asking members to think about two things. First, how cloud computing and related technologies, such as AI and data analytics, can help organisations become more efficient, innovative and productive. And second, what it will take to build and run the infrastructure that makes this possible.

Each day has its own theme.

Monday: Cloud modernisation and adoption

How are organisations moving off legacy systems and getting more value from cloud? We’d like to hear about migration and cloud-native development, as well as managing costs, skills and making the cloud work for the public sector and SMEs. We’re also interested in how a modern cloud estate helps organisations prepare to adopt AI.

Tuesday: Sovereignty, security and resilience

What does cloud sovereignty mean in practice for UK customers, and what are the trade-offs with cost, choice and capability? How are providers responding to data residency requirements, concentration risk, new cyber security and resilience legislation, and the debate on competition in the cloud market?

Wednesday: Hybrid, multi-cloud and edge

How are organisations deciding where their workloads should run? This covers public and private cloud, hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, and edge computing. We also want to hear about interoperability, portability and avoiding lock-in.

Thursday: AI, data and the cloud

Cloud is where most organisations will build and run AI. How are they getting their data ready, choosing between AI services, and moving from pilots to production? We’re also interested in the infrastructure side, including data centres, AI Growth Zones, and access to compute and GPUs as a service.

Friday: Energy

How do we power growth in cloud and AI? This theme covers grid connections, power supply, data centre efficiency, heat reuse, and how cloud can help customers cut their own energy use and emissions.

techUK members can share case studies, expertise and best practice through blogs, vlogs and social media.
