Justice and Emergency Services

The Justice & Emergency Services Group has been set up to represent members operating in the criminal justice and emergency services market, tackling a number of issues such as homeland security, information sharing across the sector with a particular focus on joining-up the criminal justice system. The group aims to build strong relationships between the supplier community and the sector.

The Group represents nearly 250 members operating in these markets, and aims to lead debate on new technologies, optimise use of existing capabilities and provide a forum for law enforcement to engage with industry.

The strategic direction of the Justice & Emergency Services Programme is set by the JES Management Committee. The committee is made up of representatives from the membership, elected by the membership every 2 years. The Chair of the Committee is Colin Akhurst, of Northgate Public Services, and the Vice-Chair is Alex Slater, of Accenture.
