The Digital Citizens Group seeks to harness the power of information and technology to improve health and quality of life outcomes for patients and the public.
The group work directly with patients and patient representative groups; and with the NHS and health and social care providers to help them meet the challenges of supporting digitally empowered citizens. Our members supply public-facing products and services that empower people to take control of their health and care through self-monitoring; improved access to health data; secure access to online advice and support and the ability to digitally manage interactions with the system.
Joining this group will add you to a mailing list on this topic to ensure you'll be informed of opportunities to get involved. The Health and Social Care Council leads a working group on this topic and if projects or events arise, you'll be able to express your interest to be involved.
