Meet our speakers
Stephen joined BSI after a career in the Royal Navy spanning over 20 years. He has wide experience of designing, delivering and evaluating IT Security training across the Ministry of Defence as well as developing awareness programmes on risk management, physical security and business continuity planning. Stephen has extensive knowledge of various management system standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 9001.
Phil leads the Cyber, Risk and Advisory consultancy practice for BSI in the UK providing advice to clients in the public and commercial sectors on cyber risk, security architecture and information assurance. Having started his career in managed IT services, before progressing through management consultancy to boutique security consultancy Phil specialises in bridging the gap between specialist groups, be that technical, security or senior risk owners. He helps organizations to better understand the risks they face and the value of their mitigation.
