SME Venture Capital Funding Workshop

White Horse Capital one of the UK’s most active Series A & B investment advisors, is delivering this ‘VC Funding Workshop’ to provide techUK members with the latest information and guidance on raising growth capital from VCs.  They will be sharing knowledge on what VCs look for and run optional 1-2-1 speed clinics for members to talk in private about their own potential to VCs.  VC funding at Series A and B (£1-10m) is a key facilitator of high growth for UK scale-ups, and in a competitive landscape, the workshop will help you evaluate if and when VC funding is for you.

 It will cover:

  •        What VCs want to fund
  •        The investment landscape
  •        Types of funding available (and jargon-busting: smart money, strategic investors, CVC, VC, VCT, Family Office, UHNW)
  •        Overview of investment readiness (business planning, financial modelling, data rooms)
  •        Crafting the best investment proposition (raise amount valuation, ROI)
  •        Case study examples
  •        Open Q&A

After lunch the White Horse Capital team will be running 1-2-1 surgeries for members to discuss their funding requirements, ask confidential questions and to explore what funding could be available to support them.
