The webinar will take place on Tuesday 15 August 2017 at 10am.
After the webinar, there will be opportunities for 30 minute question and answer (Q&A) sessions between individual suppliers and members of the NHS Digital team.
NHS Digital is currently looking to procure the services of a strategic partner to support the development and delivery of a Security Operations Centre.
In order to inform and challenge the development of the requirement, NHS Digital has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to the market. Find out more about the Request for Information.
Formal procurement following this market engagement will be subject to internal approvals and funding agreement. All suppliers engaged in the RFI will be notified of Tender release, and provided with links to OJEU details and documentation.
Although a timetable for formal procurement is not yet in place, NHS Digital is aiming to ensure continuity for existing services is in place before the end of existing contracts on 31 March 2018.
The purpose of the webinar is to provide more details about the Security Operations Centre, specifically:
• short-term and long-term objectives of the Security Operations Centre and Security Operating Model
• high-level overview of SOC service model
• the current status of NHS Digital’s security service
• commercial and procurement considerations
