Agustin Pablo Huerta | VP of Technology - Artificial Intelligence, IoT & Data & Analytics Studios, Globant, Argentina
With more than 16 years of experience working in the software industry, Agustin grew astoundingly from a software developer aligned to Microsoft stack to manage teams of more than 400 people. Since he joined Globant in 2009 he has led numerous top accounts, assisting them through digital transformation successfully and launching some of the most revolutionary platforms to great success. In 2016 he became a Studio Partner and is currently VP of Technology of Data & Analytics, AI and IoT Studios where he leads a team of more than 700 engineers who work alongside clients of diverse industries such as media, healthcare, pharma, and banking, among others.
Rafael Funes, Executive Chairman of LOVIS EOS, Mexico
Rafael Funes is the creator and Executive Chairman of LOVIS EOS, Enterprise Software Created for Humans. He has been awarded with The Author’s Merit Great National Order by President Vicente Fox and The Science and Technology Prize by Enrique Peña Nieto, former President of Mexico. He is the first recipient of Tecnológico de Monterrey Professional Merit Award and has been Member, Vice-President and President of the Board of the AMITI, Patron of the ANZMEX, Patron of the 55555MEXCCUK. Rafael is member of the board of the BritChaM, Member of the Board of Tecnológico de Monterrey Digital Transformation Hub, Member of the Mexican Foreign Affairs Council (COMEXI) and DIT LATAM Investors Club Chairman. He has been lecturer in countless events and under his leadership DynaWare, his former company and predecessor of LOVIS, occupied the second position in Mexico and seventeenth in Latin America in the Great Place to Work Institute rankings.
Katherine Mayes, Programme Manager, Cloud, Data, Analytics & Ai, techUK
Katherine joined techUK in May 2018 as the Programme Manager for Cloud Computing, Data, Analytics and AI. Prior to techUK, Katherine worked as a Policy Advisor at the Government Digital Service (GDS) supporting the digital transformation of UK Government.
Whilst working at the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) Katherine led AMRC’s policy work on patient data, consent and opt-out. Katherine has a BSc degree in Biology from the University of Nottingham.
