D&I in healthtech: Ways to be a good ally

At the beginning of July, techUK’s Skills, Talent and Diversity and Health and Social Care teams partnered to organise a webinar on Ethnic diversity in healthtech: Actions to do more. Together with a panel of representatives from the NHS, the tech sector and beyond, we looked at how we can work to ensure that diversity and inclusion are at the core of digital transformation ambitions in healthcare, and identified a series of themes that we will seek to explore over the coming months.

In partnership with volunteer-led healthtech community Tech4CV19, this September, we will start by looking at Making the right changes for the right reasons: Ways to be a good ally.

Join this event, part of London Tech Week, to understand how you can do more to support underrepresented groups and champion their voices or share your experience. You will hear from an expert panel including:

  • Sonia Patel, Chief Information Officer, NHSX
  • Dr Sam Shah, Global Clinical and Digital Advisor; NHS Consultant; previously Director of Digital Development for NHSX.
  • Hassan Chaudhury, Digital Health Lead at Healthcare UK, Department of International Trade; Cofounder, Tech4CV19
  • Nimmi Patel, Policy Manager, Skills, Talent & Diversity, techUK (Moderator).

This webinar is free and open to all. If you are unable to register, please contact Zoe Brockbank. Joining details for this online event will be sent separately to your booking confirmation.
